Road Frontage: Paved community road, good condition, community maintained, low/no through traffic on private cul-de-sac with only 5 homes, most of which are seasonal residences. It is of note that a mile + of entry roads leading to the property were recently repaved (as part of Big Canoe's annual Road Maintenance Program) and are in excellent condition.  Property has approximately 180 feet of road frontage.
Building Site: Pretty much anywhere from the road to 1/2 way back on the lot is going to offer a very easy, and very gently sloped building site, with very gentle driveway.  An Excellent Building Site.
NOTE: Owner has had the property Perk Tested and a an acceptable Soil Analysis Report was the result.  To Download a PDF of Report -

Water features: Big Canoe has it's own private Water Utility that all residents tap into, so underground water is not an issue.  No particular water features on this property.
Views: Great seasonal mountain views from the front overlooking interior Big Canoe Mountain ranges.  Year round rear and surrounding views of the rock cliffs and boulders lets you definitely feel - quite literally - part of the mountains.
Layout/Terrain: The first 1/2 to 2/3rd's of the lot - from the road - is a very gentle, almost level slope.  Towards the very rear the property juts sharply up a rock face cliff.  Very picturesque, with several huge rock boulders laying around to give a nice natural landscaping touch.
Vegetation: Hardwoods, Laurel, photos below are representative

GENERAL COMMENTS: This is a part of the greater Big Canoe community. Amenities include: 27 hole Golf, Tennis club, Fitness center, Swim club, Marina/Lake/Fishing/Boating, private post office, miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, bike trails, enormous sports complex with soccer and baseball fields, gated security entrances, 3 restaurants, country store, gift shop, non-denominational community chapel etc..

We have a few photos below. Including a brief photo walking tour of the road.

Above are scenes of the property from Winter 2007; That's my car above by the way, parked, as I took photos. There is a circular cul-de-sac at the end to the left of the above photo.  That entire section of road is almost completely level, great for walks.  The house you see in background, and one other just beyond it are all that is built on this road past our lot.  End of cul-de-sac, and everything on our end of the road beyond is undeveloped.  Can't promise that privacy forever - but this area of Big Canoe is still unspoiled by higher density building.  It's really a plus because this section is attracting attention as one of the last "Old" neighborhoods - still extremely quiet, secluded and natural.  Below are some Summer Greenery Scenes from 2005.
